DAPROSE Guardian is a real time, pre-visit and post-visit website security module (Firewall) developed by DAPROSE, a Data Processing, Programming and Consulting Service Enterprise based in Houston, Texas USA.

The original source code was written in vbScript (classic ASP). Later, the source code was converted into VB.NET (ASP.NET), and further more in PHP, the purpose is protecting websites running on any Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) and also websites running on the Apache Server installed in all flavors of the LINUX/UNIX Operating System.

A similar product using the same technology is called “Counterizer” which is now being developed in PHP for all WordPress sites running on the Windows and Linux platforms.

DAPROSE Guardian detects, checks and follows a visitor’s visits to your website and makes smart decisions based on the characteristics and activity of each visitor. It either allows or denies a full visit, depending on the severity of any attack.

DAPROSE Guardian keeps a log file of each visitor, it refuses ghosts, stops a session, bans an IP or an entire network, it can also block regions and entire countries. It blocks malicious SQL injections and predefined keywords. It can also block Internet browsers forever, notifying other subscribed websites about the specific offenders.

With DAPROSE Guardian you can build a dictionary of malicious words or denied keywords to detect on each visitor’s visit; and if the aggression is detected, it will ban that sucker forever.

Websites with the DAPROSE Guardian technology implemented will automatically refuse such attackers permanently. A manual intervention will be required to re-establish access for a particular offender.

While DAPROSE Guardian works invisibly in real time producing and managing it’s own database, administrators can always access it’s control panel (MAIN MENU) to add, modify or remove features and actions as needed.
